🔹1. What is a prepaid SIM card?

A prepaid SIM card is a mobile SIM that allows you to pay in advance for a set amount of data, calls, and texts, without any contracts or monthly bills.

🔹 2. How do I activate my prepaid SIM card?

There is a white sticker on the SIM card and/or instructions on the packaging. Please follow these instructions. If you have any further questions, please click here and fill out our support request form. A support ticket will be generated, and a member of our support staff will respond typically within 4-6 hours.

🔹 3. Will my phone work with a prepaid SIM card?

Most prepaid SIMs work with unlocked phones that are compatible with the network bands of the SIM provider. Always check compatibility, especially for international SIMs.

🔹 4. How long does a prepaid SIM card last?

Our prepaid SIMs typically have a validity period of 30, 60, 90 or 120 days from the date of activation. After that, service ends unless extended or recharged. Please see our Refill / Top-Up page on our website for the specific carrier you have your original plan with.

🔹 5. Can I keep my phone number with a prepaid SIM?

Typically, yes you may. However, you will want to contact your carrier in advance of this purchase to ensure there are no port-out restrictions on your account and instructions for the port-out procedure.

🔹 6. Do prepaid SIM cards support hotspot/tethering?

Most of our plans include a separate hotspot data amount or it is part of your total data amount. Please review our product specifications to ensure that the specific plan meets your hotspot / tethering needs.

🔹 7. What’s the difference between a physical SIM and an eSIM?

A physical SIM is a small, removable card. An eSIM is digital and embedded in your phone. eSIMs can be activated by a couple ways and we will provide a QR code and/or instructions depending upon the carrier. For eSIMs, no physical card is needed.

🔹 8. Can I use my prepaid SIM in multiple countries?

All of our plans require that all calls, texts and data must originate in the U.S.A.

🔹 9. What happens if I use all my data?

Most plans slow down your speed (throttling) until you top-up the data or if your plan is for multiple months, the data amounts refresh on your next month.

🔹 10. What devices are compatible with prepaid eSIMs?

Prepaid eSIMs work with most newer, unlocked smartphones and tablets that support eSIM technology, such as recent models of iPhone, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, and others. Before purchasing, please check your device settings to confirm eSIM capability.

🔹 11. Can I use a prepaid eSIM and my regular SIM at the same time?

Typically, yes you may. Most modern smartphones support Dual SIM functionality, allowing you to use your prepaid eSIM for data while keeping your regular SIM active for calls and texts. However, if your current phone is under a contract with your carrier, they may restrict the ability to add an eSIM from another carrier.

🔹 12. Do prepaid eSIMs work in multiple countries?

Most of our plans do not, however some do offer roaming credits for international use. Be sure to check the specifications list of your specific eSIM plan to confirm which plans include international roaming credits.

🔹 14. Can I install my prepaid eSIM before I travel?

Yes, you may install your prepaid eSIM before your trip, but we recommend waiting to activate it until you arrive at your destination to maximize the validity period. All of our eSIMs begin their countdown as soon as they are activated on a network.

🔹 15. What happens if I delete my eSIM from my phone?

If you delete your eSIM profile from your device, it cannot always be reinstalled. Please avoid deleting it unless necessary. If removed accidentally, contact customer support to see if reactivation is possible.
